Amidst a flurry of car reveals for the upcoming 2019 Formula One World Championship, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport Team have finally pulled the covers off their brand new, faster, sleeker, and more efficient race car.

Carrying the team’s hopes of a record breaking sixth consecutive world championship double; the W10 has big wheel tracks to fill; with the last five season’s Silver Arrow machinery securing a whopping 74 wins from 100 Grand Prix.

The W10 - officially titled the Mercedes-AMG F1 W10 EQ Power+ - ran it’s first shakedown laps around the Silverstone International circuit on Wednesday 13th February clocking up around 100km with Valtteri Bottas and then Lewis Hamilton at the wheel.

Aerodynamics is the watch word for the changes featured on all 2019 F1 cars. New sporting regulations have pushed the teams to run wider and higher front and rear wings in a bid to produce more overtaking this season. In addition to this, the Silver Arrow’s title contending car also features a new engine; with a more efficient power unit and cooling system.
