Quality Policy and Warranty
We at Latalata strive to ensure buyers receive value for money spent on products ordered through us. To achieve this, products displayed our website are NEW and sourced directly from the manufacturers, manufacturers’ representatives, franchised dealers, major distributors, and/or direct wholesalers. As such the quality of products is of the highest standard the original manufacturers can guarantee.
Latalata do not deal on used items or inauthentic products. This includes, but not limited to products that have been produced, assembled, replicated, or modified without the authorization of the original equipment manufacturers (OEM). All products bearing a manufacturer’s brand (name and/ or logo) must have been lawfully produced by, or sourced from, or produced or modified with the consent of the OEM. The merchant holds the responsibility to source for and sell authentic products.
Sale of inauthentic/ counterfeit products may also lead to civil and criminal penalties and legal action against merchants by the lawful owners of the brand and/or intellectual property. Latalata will cooperate with relevant authorities and appropriate parties in holding the offending merchants accountable. Latalata may also suspend or terminate hosting the merchant’s products immediately, indefinitely, and without warning.
Descriptions in each product information page details the specifications believed to have been set out by the original manufacturers and/or advised by the source merchant. Please read through and ensure it match the specifications you need.
Warranty
It is possible that few products may have factory defects. When this happens, our merchants are committed to their products warranties. This ensures that if anything goes wrong, that is neither the customer’s fault nor a result of improper usage; your product can be repaired or replaced. Not all brands offer warranty on their products.
On the product page, warranty duration would usually be stated. Where the notice period exceed 7 days, or the conditions violate our return policy (click here to read), we would not be able to facilitate returns or your warranty. You will have to contact the merchant directly.
Products would usually come with a warranty card. If there is no warranty card, please check the user manual or product packaging for warranty details.
Products within warranty duration, damaged by mechanical or electrical systems, would have the cost covered by the merchant. If the product is out of warranty duration however, you will be responsible for the repair cost. We advise you repair the product at a service center authorized by the manufacturer or referred to by the merchant for better quality services.
Please send product(s) directly to authorized service center. Ensure you include all the accessories, information included in packaging and proof of purchase (Latalata Invoice). This would facilitate a prompt warranty claim.
This Quality Policy and Warranty bind both buyers, and merchants whose products are enlisted on our website. All parties are advised to read and abide by this always.
